Canadian Men's Pair Cruise to Finals!!

Congratulations to Terry's crew - they won their semifinals!!! GO CANADA!!! See the story below!

The Canadian men's rowing pair of David Calder and Scott Frandsen advanced to the finals after winning the first semifinal race on Wednesday. The men will face Australia and South Africa in the finals, who finished second and third, respectively.

The Canadian men led the entire race, finishing in a time of six minutes, 34.02 seconds, almost two seconds ahead of New Zealand. Joining them in the finals will be the U.S., Australia and Germany, who topped the second semifinal race on Wednesday.

The men are expected to contend for a medal in the finals, scheduled for Saturday at 4:30 a.m. ET.
