Shopping at the Pacific Mall

Yesterday, my sister (Kim) and niece (Anna) and I went shopping at the Pacific Mall and Market Village (Kennedy/Steeles). For those of you who have never been there - it's a giant indoor Chinese shopping mall!! We started off with dim sum at the Ginger and Onion restaurant - waiting about 1/2 hour for a table - only to be dissapointed that we were sitting in a crappy section of the restaurant that the dim sum carts came to last! So, we never got to have any har gow or siu mai!! A real disappointment - I think this happened to us last time as well....yesterday, we vowed never to go back there for dim sum!! Hopefully, we remember that next time we decided to go out for dim sum!!

We went through the whole mall making purchases here and there - candies and dried plums from the candy store, lucky red envelopes from the trinket stores, "dvds" from the many dvd stores. I aslo got a new camera bag for my camera and a plastic screen protector for the screen. And I bought myself a new pair of sunglasses from Good Eyes Optical - our go to eyeglass store.
