Naples 2007
We did our annual trip to Naples, FL to visit Scott's parents before Christmas. Our trip down on December 15th did not go smoothly as we missed our morning flight! We were about 5 mins late to get our boarding passes - that totally sucked!!! So, we had to rebook our flight for 4 p.m. that afternoon and pay $300+ for the new tickets. So, we to reload our luggage into the car and drive home to hang out for a few hours. What a nightmare - note to everyone - get to airport with plenty of time to spare!!!!
On the 16th we were suppose to play in a golf tournament at Sandi and Barry's golf club, but it was raining quite heavily so it was canceled. So, we went outlet shopping instead!!!
Terry, Ingrid, Ava and Carson arrived later that night. It was a full house! We spent the rest of the week playing golf, going to the beach and of course....shopping!!!!
One night we went out for dinner and then headed downtown to see the soapy snow that blows out from the lightposts! It snows every Thursday night!! There are a few bands that are situated around town and people walk around enjoying the music and looking at the lights.
One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Leafs - Panthers game on Saturday night. We were able to get some box seat tickets thanks to our friend Jamie Wray so Terry, Barry, Scott and I drove over to Sunrise, FL to watch the game. It was awesome - especially since Toronto won!! It was a sold out game - primarily because of all the Leaf fans - at times I thought we were the home team!!!
