Thanksgiving Weekend - Mink Lake

This weekend we travelled north to Mink Lake to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Hollingsworth. Here are a few pics of our hunting trip with William and James - that's right, both boys have their own play shotguns - they load and fire just like a real gun - shells included! Unfortunately, our hunting trip was a bust - although Drew did manage to shoot a partridge later in the day.

Fall Weekend

What a beautiful fall weekend we just had! We spent the weekend in Peterborough. Scott played in the Men's Closing day - his team won!! Sandi and I spent Saturday shopping in the area - including driving up to Young's Point to the Lockside Trading Company. The drive was just lovely with all the vibrant fall colours!


On Sunday, we all got together to play golf and celebrate Barry's and Aunt Cheryl's birthdays. Harry and Marilyn joined us as well. The golf course was just gorgeous - it was so relaxing and calm - I love the fall. I was pretty happy with how I played (97) - my handicap even dropped down one to 27!! After golf, everyone went back to the house for a fantastic steak dinner!
